about me

Creative Journey

My approach to design is built on a unique foundation, one which I integrate into every project. With a BA (Hons) in Marketing & Enterprise and many years as a vegan, I've developed a deep understanding of both the vegan consumer and the ethical business landscape.

This blend of skills, business understanding, and vegan principles forms the core of Dan Kemp Creative, and allowed me to follow a very clear mission: To help planet, people, and purpose-first pioneers with design that plants seeds of change and grows a future rooted in compassion and impact.

Ethics & Values

Core Ethos

Behind every project, every design, and every decision is a set of guiding principles. These aren't just words; they are the values that define the foundation of every project.

Planet-First

A commitment to supporting the planet instead of taking from it. This means prioritising environmental well-being, and ensuring that profit is never made at the planet's expense.

Impact

Delivering projects that make a tangible difference. This means empowering clients to grow their purpose and create significant, positive change through their mission.

Empathy

A focus on understanding client challenges and audience desires. A commitment that translates into designs that truly resonate and connect with their intended audience.

Integrity

Acting in unwavering alignment with the other four values. This promises that every project will play its part in creating positive change, helping to build a future we can be proud of.

Compassion

Designing for a cause greater than the product itself. Whether it’s advocating for animals, people, or the environment, compassion influences every interaction and creative decision.

Approach & Process

01

Deep Dive & Strategy

Every project starts with a conversation to truly understand your vision, challenges, and opportunities. Together, we'll define clear objectives and build a strategic roadmap. Laying out the expectations and goals right from the start ensures a smooth and precise path forward.

Foundation & Direction

Now, we build the project’s foundation and refine its direction. This crucial step varies, but often involves sitemaps, content architecture, or in-depth brand identity research. It’s all about creating the precise blueprints before the creative execution truly begins.

Design & Development

With the foundations set, our project truly begins to take shape through Design & Creation. This involves crafting initial mock-ups that evolve into refined, high-fidelity designs. For web projects, this stage progresses into development, bringing your vision to life in Webflow.

Launch & Support

The final stage of your project is dedicated to Launch & Support. All finalised assets are delivered with comprehensive guidelines and ongoing assistance, fully equipping you to manage your new brand or website independently.

Skills:
Unlimited energy | Expert ball catching | Olympic level Sully herding
Bio:
Luna plays a multifaceted yet important role. As CBO, she'll catch any ball you throw, steal any ball you have, and would most definitely trade both me and Sully for a new one if given the opportunity. She's incredibly effective at guarding the camper van from sheep, birds, and any stray plastic bags.

In 2021, she was crowned Princess of the Peak District, a title she wears with pride and will let everyone know about.

Skills:
Web & graphic design | Webflow development
Bio:
Away from my screen, I love getting out into nature. More often than not, I'm getting lost in the Peak District or being led somewhere new by my two rascals/colleagues, Sully and Luna.

My week days are spent making wonderful websites and beautiful branding, and my weekends are spent exploring new places in my camper van and simply making the most of being out in a peaceful new spot. Adventuring aside, I enjoy reading, hitting the gym, studying Spanish, and exploring new vegan dishes.

Skills:
Master of unlimited sleep | Professional attention thief | Commander of belly scratches
Bio:
Sully brings a unique brand of chaos to the team. He makes sure to remind everybody that the world is ending if he doesn’t receive attention every 5 minutes, and often takes initiative in emptying a bin while eating its inedible contents.

He’s diligently working to combat his fear of microwave doors, building his self control to not eat Luna’s food, and… oh wait, time for his attention.
