Calder Rivers Trust has been protecting and restoring the rivers and waterways of Calderdale, Kirklees, and Wakefield since 2009. Their existing site had grown outdated, lacked a clear user journey, and didn't reflect the trust's standing as part of The Rivers Trust network.
We worked through the full site from scratch, auditing the existing content, building a new content architecture, new wireframes, a new user journey, and designing a site that felt fresh, credible, and easy to navigate.
The result is a clean, modern platform that gives Calder Rivers Trust a digital presence worthy of the work they do. By rebuilding with sustainable design principles, I reduced the site's digital footprint by 80%, dropping the carbon output from 0.49g down to 0.12g CO₂ per page load on project launch.
